Fall on Your Knees

I read this book in March.  It's one my friend loaned me, and I don't think I liked it very much.  I found it hard to get into, and also there were some parts that I won't forget out of horror.  Not gorey, but just, disgusting.  I don't remember the author and so I can't find a picture of it.
